SAFE RATINGS

Safe manufacturers are required to make all their products with ratings that comply with UL standards. In doing so the 'Rate" each one as follows:

B Rated: Burglar Rated. A certain amount of hard plate covers the dial

C Rated: Fire Safe

BC Rated: Burglar and Fire

TL15 Rated: Burglar Rated for 15 minutes with tools

TL30 Rated: Burglar Rated for 30 minutes with tools.

TRTL 15 Rated: Burglar Rated for 15 minutes with torch AND tools.

TRTL 30 Rated: Burglar rated for 30 minutes with torch AND tools.
